is revised, the target score

the match, shall be calculated by multiplying the revised number of overs for
that innings by the average runs per over scored by side that
batted first.
iii) If the match is abandoned before the side batting second has received its
allotted number of overs, the result
shall be decided on the
average run rate throughout both innings, provided the team batting second has
received at
least 10 overs.
iv) If the team batting first is all out without using its full quota of overs, any
calculation of run-rate shall be based
upon full quota of overs
to which it was entitled.
v) A result must be attained once a match has started. If no result can otherwise
be achieved, the Captains to

’contest (see 23.3.17). If conditions prevent such contest taking place, the ‘toss’ of a
coin to

ball being bowled’, 2 points to be awarded to both teams.

teams have same number of points, then team with highest number of wins
recorded, or if
still equal, team with highest scoring rate over all games played, shall gain the higher position.
